PLANET VC-231GP on VDSL2-Ethernet-muunnin PoE- virransyöttötuella. Laite mahdollistaa uuden G.vectoring modulaation avulla jopa 200/100Mbit/s tiedonsiirtonopeude puhelinkaapelissa. VDSL2-tekniikan käyttökohteita ovat mm. kiinteistöjen laajakaistaverkot, rakennusten ja toimipisteiden väliset tiedonsiirtoyhteydet, sekä lyhyen matkan internet-yhteydet operaattoriverkoissa. Erityisen hyvin VC-231GP malli soveltuu ympäristöihin, missäkuparilinkin takana on PoE-tekniikkaa hyödyntävä IP- valvontakamera tai WLAN-tukiasema.
