PLANET on kehittänyt teknologian (Long Reach PoE), jonka avulla vanhat koaksiaalikaapelit voidaan hyödyntää IP- kameraverkkojen rakentamisessa. Tekniikan avulla vanhoissa kaapeleissa voidaan datan lisäksi siirtää IP-kameroiden tarvitsema PoE/PoE+ virransyöttö.

PLANET LRP-822CS on hallittava keskitinyksikkö max kahdeksalle (8x) koaksiaalisegmentille. Etäpäähäähän päätelaitteeksi PLANET-LRP-101CE.
