PLANET CS6-16PON4C4S4X on hallittava Layer 3-tason GPON OLT
-kytkinmoduuli, joka on suunniteltu CS-6303R- ja CS-6306R- kytkinrunkoihin. Moduuli tarjoaa 16x GPON-porttia, 4x 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 tai SFP-yhdistelmäporttia, 4x 1000BASE-X SFP-porttia ja 4x 10GBASE-X SFP+-porttia.

CS6-16PON4C4S4X tukee ITU-T G.984/G.988 -standardeja ja mahdollistaa jopa 1024 ONU/HGU-laitteen hallinnan. Moduuli tarjoaa GPON-verkoille korkean kaistanleveyden (2, 5 Gbit/s alas / 1, 25 Gbit/s ylös), jopa 20 km kantaman ja 1:128 jakosuhteen per portti, mikä tekee siitä kustannustehokkaan ratkaisun laajamittaisiinkin FTTx-toteutuksiin.

Moduuli tukee IPv4- ja IPv6-reititystä, mukaan lukien RIP, OSPF ja BGP, sekä multicast-protokollia kuten IGMP, MLD ja PIM. Lisäksi se tarjoaa Layer 2 -toimintoja, kuten VLAN, porttiaggregointi, Spanning Tree Protocol ja QoS. Hallinta onnistuu web-käyttöliittymän, Telnetin, SSH:n, SNMP:n ja konsoliliitännän kautta.
