PLANET GT-915A on hallittava Gigabitin mediamuunnin, jossa on RJ-45- kupariportin lisäksi yksi vapaa SFP-moduulipaikka. Moduulipaikkaan voidaan laittaa halutun tyyppinen 100/1000Base-X SFP-moduli, jolloinlaitteesta saadaan Gigabitin kupari-kuitumuunnin kaikentyyppisille valokuiduille. Muunnin voidaan asentaa myös PLANET MC-1500/1500R, MC-700 ja MC-1000MR mediamuunninkehikkoon.
