XGS-6311-8T4XR tarjoaa täyden 10Gbit/s kapasiteetin kaikissaporteissa ja soveltuu erityisesti Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 – tukiasemille, NAS-järjestelmille, palvelimille ja työasemille.

Kytkin sisältää 240Gbit/s kytkinarkkitehtuurin, L3-reitityksen (staattinen reititys, RIP, OSPF) sekä IPv6-tuetun hallinnan. VLAN-toiminnot kattavat 802.1Q-tunnisteet, Q-in-Q-pinonnan, yksityiset VLAN-alueet ja GVRP-hallinnan. Kytkin tukee myös linkkien yhdistämistä (LACP), silmukansuojausta (RSTP/MSTP) sekä IGMP- ja MLD-ryhmävalvontaa.

Turvaominaisuuksiin kuuluvat 802.1X-porttivalvonta, RADIUS/TACACS+-tunnistus, ACL-säännöt, DHCP-valvonta, IP-lähdesuojaus ja ARP-tarkastus.
