Kytkin on varustettu ”PD keep-alive” ominaisuudella, jolla kytkin pystyy itsenäisesti tarkistamaan esim. IP-kameran tilan ping-komennolla ja tekemään portille automaattisen virtakäynnistyksen (PoE OFF -> PoE ON).
