PLANET GSD-2022P on desktop-mallinen 18-porttinen Gigabitin PoE+ kytkin, jonka Ethernet-porteista 16x on varustettu PoE virransyöttötuella kokonaiskapasiteetin ollessa 185W. Kytkimessä on lisäksi 2x Gigabitin uplink-porttia sekä kaksiSFP-moduulipaikkaa valokuituoptiikalle.

Kytkimessä on lisäksi “Extended” toimitila, joka mahdollistaa 10Mbit/s Ethernet-yhteydet sekä PoE- virransyötön jopa 250m etäisyyksille. Erityisen hyödyllinen tämä on valvontakamera-verkoissa, joissa Ethernet-kaapeli saattaa ylittää standardin 100m pituuden. VLAN-toimitila on myös DIP-kytkimellä valittavissa, joten kytkin soveltuu erinomaisen hyvin kameravalvontaverkkoihin.
